When we talk about team and process management tools, agile and scrum is used interchangeably. Do these two technical terms talk about one thing or represent different concepts and theories? Before we discuss the difference let us understand the basics of Agile and Scrum methodology. Interchangeably agile and scrum methodology is used.
Agile methodology
This came as a boon 2 decades before that resolves the shortcomings of the traditional waterfall method. In this method, every phase in an SDLC happens in concurrence. This method is called an iterative approach where after every development testing happens and all other process follows.
Scrum Methodology
Scrum is one of the frameworks used to implement the agile methodology. In this method, time frames are defined for every action. There are few stages followed like

• Sprint planning – Planning of the task for the entire task
• Sprint review meeting – Review after every sprint to understand what next
• Sprint retrospective – Meeting to understand what went wrong to make changes in the upcoming sprint.
