PMP Exam Application 

The eligibility criteria of PMP certification can be checked from the website and the certification handbooks. Once the form is filled and accepted, PMI sends an email confirming acceptance of the form. The study material provided offers guidelines and instruction. Once the application is opened, it will remain active for 90 days. Gather all the documents and information before logging in to avoid multiple sessions for completion of the application.  PMP Exam Pattern

How to prepare for the PMP Exam Questions, there are the multiple-choice question (MCQ) format. Time allotted for the exam will be 4 hours. Candidates will be asked to attempt 200 questions out of which they will be scored for 175 questions; rest 25 will be pre-test questions.

PMP Exam Preparation

The candidate will be given a combination of theoretical, logical, situational and calculative questions. PMP Exam Prep involves thorough reading using both online and offline sources. In case of failure in the  PMP exam on the first attempt, candidates get two more chances to re-take the exam within the eligibility period of one year. Extra fees would be charged for the re-exam. However, the candidate has to re-apply once one year eligibility period expires.

PMP Certificate Renewal Fee

The PMP renewal fee is $129 per year after earning 60 Professional Development Units (PDUs) in a three-year cycle.



1. What financial benefits will a PMI member get?

After enrolling as a PMI member, the candidate can save $150 on PMP exam fee, and if he appears for a re-exam, then he saves $100 on re-exam fees.

2. Are the mock exam papers free for PMI members?

PMI membership Advantages: Entitles its candidate access to many study centres and study material on project management. A PMI candidate does not need to pay for PMP mock exam as the member has lifetime access to the resources.

3. Are there any hidden costs in the PMP Exam fee?

There are no hidden costs when it comes to the PMP Exam fees. 

4. Will I get a refund if I fail to meet the audit requirements for the PMP exam?

If anyone fails to meet PMI’s audit requirements for the PMP certification, the institute will refund the money after deducting $100 processing fees. 

5. How can the fee be paid for the course?

- The PMP exam fee can be paid through Credit card, Debit card, and Net Banking.

6.What to do if my application expires and I have not taken the PMP exam?

The application is valid for one year from the date of approval. If your application expires, you need to go through the entire process again.

7. How much time does it take to prepare for the PMP exam?

PMP exam is difficult and requires a lot of hard work. It is advisable to study every day for a few hours for 8-10 weeks before the exam.
