Scrum Masters initially managed sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.  But today, Scrum masters also handle the responsibilities of guiding the team through changes, providing them with agile coaching, embedding Agile values across departments, and supporting organisational transformation.  This shift requires good leadership, the ability to guide others, and the skills to influence people without being their manager.

2. Greater Involvement in Product Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement

Now, Scrum Masters are more active in aligning teams with business goals. Scrum Masters should also collaborate with the product owner, the technical team, and stakeholders. To achieve this, a person should possess knowledge of business strategy, customer value, and market dynamics to make significant decisions.
