To achieve certification, you must participate in ITIL® training with an Authorised Training Provider by Axelos and earn the necessary Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points. Following your training, you will receive an exam voucher, valid for one year, which you can use to schedule and take your certification exam.
There are two modes of training for the certification and student can choose any at their convenience:

There are no pre-requisites for the ITIL® V5 Training.
Candidates are required to renew their ITIL® certification course every three years from the date it was issued. The expiration date of your ITIL® certificate can be found by logging into your PeopleCert account.
All ITIL Foundation Training sessions are recorded and available on our LMS for lifetime access.
You will get 16 CPDs for finishing the ITIL® Foundation Course. These CPDs can be used to maintain your ITIL® certification status and renew your MyAxelos digital badge.

Yes, you can retake the ITIL® Foundation Certification if you fail the exam. You need to submit your results' transcripts to request exam vouchers.
Please note: the vouchers have a validity of 1 year and it is only applicable for web-based exams.
If you don't pass the exam the first time, you can try again by paying extra. The first try is already paid for with your course fee, but if you want to add a second attempt, you can buy another voucher at the same time.
