To achieve certification, you must participate in ITIL® training with an Authorised Training Provider by Axelos and earn the necessary Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points. Following your training, you will receive an exam voucher, valid for one year, which you can use to schedule and take your certification exam.
There are two modes of training for the certification and student can choose any at their convenience:

Candidates are required to renew their ITIL® certification course every three years from the date it was issued. The expiration date of your ITIL® certificate can be found by logging into your PeopleCert account.

There are no pre-requisites for the ITIL® V4 Training.
You will be getting the relevant assignments, case studies and pre-study materials. You can access everything on our LMS. Moreover, you will have the recorded sessions of all the classes you have attended, which you can refer to in case of any difficulty.
These ITIL®4 Foundation Training lessons would be recorded automatically on our LMS, as long as AXELOS agreed to it. Based on the permissions, you would also be able to watch the video recordings of the meetings for as long as you want.

The final results are made public two business days after the candidate's answers are officially sent to us by the test supervisor. Should you have gotten an email from PeopleCert telling you that you need to do something, please make sure that you do it so that the test results can be sent to you.

The cost of retaking an ITIL certification exam through Axelos may vary, but as of February 2023, Axelos charges $195 USD for an exam retake.
There is usually a time limit on when you can take the retake test for the ITIL® Foundation course. This time limit is usually between a few months and a year after the first exam date.
If you don't pass the exam the first time, you can try again by paying extra. The first try is already paid for with your course fee, but if you want to add a second attempt, you can buy another voucher at the same time.
